Hi, I’m Shelley Hancock, your celebrant based in Millthorpe, NSW. I can travel to locations surrounding this area including Orange, Bathurst, Cowra, Dubbo, Mudgee or the Blue Mountains. I’m happy to travel to any location to be a part of your special day.

Why I’m a marriage celebrant.

One dream most people share in life is to meet their one true love and make that love official by marrying their perfect partner. I wanted to go one further and be a part of making that dream a reality for other couples, so I became a marriage celebrant!

Not only do I get to meet wonderful people at a very special time in their lives, but I get to attend an abundance of weddings in magnificent locations, and play a role in making couples’ dreams come true.

I have a creative edge that I love to bring to life every day. I am extremely good at listening and will work with you to bring your vision to life.

I am very well organised and work best when everything is perfectly planned out. I will ensure there is not a single stone left unturned! I love to go above and beyond to make my couples feel celebrated and loved.

 
 

My personal life.

In my everyday life I’m a regular mum to three adventurous kids, a dog and a mountain of washing!

My husband and I have been together for ten years and, like a lot of couples these days, we have done things a little unconventionally! Our children arrived before I made that formal commitment to him. I gave the phrase, “give him a run for his money” a true workout before we sealed the deal in April 2022!

One thing most people know about me is that I love, love, love weddings. I love to party and I love to celebrate life! What better way to do all these things than to be your marriage celebrant?

My dream as a celebrant is to give each and every couple their fairytale experience, whether that be an intimate elopement or a large, elaborate ceremony. It really is an honour to be given the opportunity to design your wedding ceremony and create memories that will be shared with your family for the rest of your life.
